LAHORE (Web Desk) – Central Board of Film Censors (CBFC) of Pakistan has decided to ban Bollywood film Pari in cinemas across the country.
The content of the horror film that features Anushka Sharma depicts use of black magic, some non-Islamic values and anti-Muslim sentiments.
Nueplex Cinemas shared a post on their facebook page, “We have just been informed that PARI has been banned by the Central Board of Film Censors, Pakistan. Hence the film will not be screened at Nueplex Cinemas.Tickets already sold can be refunded from our box office. We apologize for any inconvenience caused, it added.
The movie is due to release today (Friday)
