ECP Chief takes notice of deceased voters in election catalog

ISLAMABAD (Sarzameen News)- Election commission of Pakistan (ECP) Chief Sardar Raza on Wednesday has taken notice of the deceased voters still enlisted in election catalog amounting to 30,00,000 number of people.

The EC chief inquired the relevant section as to how many deceased people were dismissed from the election catalog in the past five years and also inquired regarding the methodology by which the procedure is executed.

Dunya News had pointed out that 37.50 lakh people would have deceased according to the average annual fatalities in Pakistan in the past five years but election commission only dismissed the names of 700,000 people from the election catalog in the same years putting 30,00,000 deceased people remaining still in the election catalog.
