ISLAMABAD (Sarzameen News)- The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Sunday further postponed the semi-finals of the National T20 that were rescheduled to be held today.
The first match to national T20 semis was previously announced to be held on Saturday, which were later slated for Sunday morning at 12:30.
According to PCB, the match has further been deferred as the teams could not get out of the hotel following a tremendous situation across the federal capital, in the wake of crackdown on the protestors staging a sit-in in Islamabad.
Lahore Whites were to face Faisalabad, while FATA were set to take on Lahore Blues in the pre-finals at the Pindi Stadium in Rawalpindi.
Dozens of protesters were detained as they resisted the operation and pelted stones at policemen and FC personnel, after the capital was virtually paralysed for weeks due to the sit-in by a religious group.
