ISLAMABAD (Sarzameen News)- Islamabad police has arrested nine outlaws including four drug paddlers from various areas of the city and recovered huge amount of drugs, mobile phones, weapons and other looted items, a police spokesman said on Thursday.
According to details, on the special directions by the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Islamabad Sajid Kiani Islamabad Police has arrested nine outlaws from various areas of the city. Sub-Inspector from Shehzad Town police station has arrested a drug pusher Javed Anwar and recovered 2.020 kg hashish while ASI Zafar Ali recovered one 30 bore pistol from an accused Zeeshan Zafar during patrolling.
Sub-Inspector Muhammad Shahbaz alongwith his team from Golra police station has arrested a notorious drug pusher namely Ijaz hussain during patrolling and recovered 1.150 kg hashish and 120 gram opium from him. Sub-Inspector Muhammad Ashraf of Secretariat Police arrested an accused namely Qaiser Shah involved in a theft case and recovered an LCD from him.
Asif Hussain ASI from CIA police has recovered one 30 bore pistol with ammunition on the identification of an arrested accused Ahmad Noor. ASI Safdar of Shalimar police has recovered three stolen mobile phone from an accused Rizwan during patrolling in the area. Sub-Inspectors Ishfaq and Gulfraz Ahmad from Sihala Police station have arrested two accused Muhammad Asif and Nafees during patrolling and recovered one clashnicov, one 30 bore pistol, one bottle of wine and ammunition from them.
Cases have been registered against all nominated accused and further investigation is underway from them.
SSP Islamabad Sajid Kiani has appreciated performance of all officials and has further directed to enhance the patrolling in their areas. All patrolling officials should be briefed properly before leaving for their official duties according to crime prevention strategy. He said that the officials showing best performance will be awarded.
