PESHAWAR (Sarzameen News)- As many as three people were killed and twenty five injured in a remote-controlled bomb blast which hit the town of Nawagai in Bajaur Agency of FATA on Friday.
Political administration said that the explosion took place when an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) planted on a roadside went off in Chaharmang area of Bajaur. Laborers working in the area were the target of the blast.
The injured were taken to Agency Headquarters Hospital Khar. Seven of the injured are said to be in critical condition.
The casualties are all said to be locals of the area. Bodies of the deceased were sent to their native towns.
Arrangements were also being made to shift the critically injured to hospitals in Peshawar via helicopter.
Security forces cordoned off the site of the incident and started a search operation in the area.
No group has so far claimed responsibility of the attack.
