Nurseries being established in different districts of Balochistan

QUETTA (Sarzameen News)- Balochistan government is striving for growth of forests as to make province self-sufficient in production of timber and firewood.
An official of Forest Department Balochistan told Radio Pakistan that a project of establishing of forest school in Ziarat district is being executed at a cost of more than Rs 176 million.
He said that nurseries are being established in different districts of the province to enhance production of Juniper, Sheena, Olive, and nut pine at a cost of Rs 123 million.
Similarly, a project of conservation of forests in different areas is also being executed at a cost of Rs 50 million.
