Gwadar airport to remain closed for a month

GWADAR  (Sarzameen News)- The authorities have decided to close Gwadar International Airport for one month in order to expand its runway.
According to the civil aviation sources, the runway of Gwadar Airport will remain shut from July 1 to July 30, and the flight operation will stay suspended.
Furthermore, no decision has been taken regarding the use of alternate airport, however, Turbat or Pasni’s airport might be used for alternate flight operation.
Sources have also disclosed that A320 planes will also be able to land on the runway of Gwadar Airport once its expansion work is completed.
